Although still manufactured and available in many countries, Suzuki GB has stopped selling the IGNIS in the UK. However after many successful years of sales in the UK and many loyal customers, we are often taking them back in part exchange and regularly have pre-owned examples available. IGNIS MODELS AND FEATURES
The Ignis was initially launched in the UK in 2000 with a completed new model being launched in 2016 and updated several times before being discontinued in the UK in 2024. The later model came with a 1.2 engine, available with either manual or automatic transmission. From 2020 the Ignis benefited from a 1.2 Dualjet self-charging 12V Hybrid engine.
The Ignis was available at various points in 3 different trim levels, SZ3, SZ-T and SZ5. Suzuki's AllGrip Select 4WD system was also available on SZ5 models. Automatic transmission was available on SZ-T and SZ5 models. Although exact specification was improved at various times the main differences were;
SZ3 - Entry level car with 5 seats, Air Conditioning, Remote Central Door Locking and Electric Front Windows.
SZ-T - Was 4 seats with a individual sliding rear seats allowing you to increase boot space without having to fold down the rear seats. In addition the SZ-T model gained 16" Black Alloy Wheels, Display Screen with Smart Phone integration, Rear View Camera and Wheel Arch Extensions and Side Mouldings.
SZ5 - The SZ5 model gained over the SZ-T variant Automatic Air Conditioning, Cruise Control with Speed Limiter and a Leather Steering Wheel.
